Lead AI Engineer

Location: Dallas TX (onsite From day 1)

Required skills

We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that solve complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will lead AI initiatives, build scalable machine learning and generative AI applications, guide engineering teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.

Lead end-to-end AI product development from data preparation to deployment.

Develop and optimize machine learning models, LLM applications, and AI pipelines.

Architect scalable cloud-based AI platforms and MLOps frameworks.

Mentor AI engineers and establish best practices for model development and governance.

Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.

Monitor model performance, reliability, security, and compliance.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Python and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases.

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, containerization, and model deployment.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.

8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years leading AI/ML teams.

Experience delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions.
